What is adaptive learning?
Adaptive learning uses AI to identify exactly what a learner doesn’t know yet and builds a study path around it. Instead of delivering the same content to every learner, the platform adjusts lessons, quizzes, and pacing based on how each person performs. The result is less time spent on material a learner already understands and more focus on what actually moves the needle before an exam.
How does WKT use adaptive learning?
WKT’s adaptive learning platform is built on learning science, not just technology. Learners move through four structured stages: a baseline assessment to establish starting knowledge, a build phase covering core content, a focus phase that targets specific gaps with adaptive quizzes, and a final review with full exam simulations. The platform uses active recall, which means retrieving information through practice rather than re-reading. Then it brings back questions a learner hasn’t seen in a while to make sure knowledge sticks over time. Daily study recommendations update automatically based on which stage a learner is in.
What is the ReadyRating?
The ReadyRating is a predictive 1–5 score that shows a learner’s probability of passing their exam if they took it that day. It is not a simple progress bar. The score is weighted against the official exam blueprint, so mastering high-priority topics has a greater impact on the rating than completing content at a flat pace. When a learner reaches ReadyRating 5, they are backed by a Pass Guarantee: if they don’t pass after hitting that level, their course fee is refunded.
Which courses use adaptive learning?
Currently WKT’s adaptive learning platform powers offerings including real estate pre-licensing education from Relo and CIRO Exam Prep through Business Career College (BCC). Additional courses and use cases will expand as the framework grows. Learners are able to begin with a platform free trial before purchasing the course.
Is adaptive learning better than traditional eLearning?
A standard online course delivers the same content in the same order to every learner. WKT’s adaptive platform maps every lesson, question, and flashcard to the official exam competency framework and adjusts the experience based on individual performance.
